NOTE: This product is only compatible with new-construction recessed can fixtures (up to 6" wide) that are supported by screwing or nailing the fixture's frame/housing to the ceiling joists. In comparison with the housing for a remodel or LED recessed can fixture that is lightly supported on the top of the ceiling—the drywall or plaster. Canopy (ceiling plate) is 8.25" wide

The kit was/is reasonably constructed but it’s really only for completely vertical installations. Angled light fixtures are a litter tougher to get the decorative cover to sit flush against the ceiling.

I wanted a pendant light above my kitchen sink and I have one now! Didn’t have to hire anybody to do the job; I just removed the old recessed light and screwed the pendant adapter in place, that simple.

Super easy to install no tools needed. Genius way to update your boring can lights. I had an existing fixture that I pulled on and broke the arm, so I was thrilled that I could just purchase another converter kit.( I added the crystals)

The two pendant light kits we purchased were installed over our recessed light fixtures in about 15 minutes and look great. The installation was simple and straight forward. I bought two of these for my hallway. They are fabulous! I used my own shade from Lowes. These light adaptors are easy to install and are a good quality. The fact that you can wrap the cord around the bar on the adapter makes it easy to adjust the cord length and keep it all in it's proper place. Definitely an easy and inexpensive upgrade to my hallway! Thank you Worth Home. It was worth it! :)
