The Classic Pattern Wood Registers offers register sizes in 2-packs. The standard thickness is 5mm and come with pre-drilled holes and screws for a quick installation. The listed sizes refer to the duct size, and our decorative border increase the actual outside measurement of the vent cover by 2.75” in width and height. How to Measure
Step 1: Remove existing vent cover so you see the inside duct opening.
Step 2: Measure the Width first and then the height. This is your duct measurement.
DO NOT MEASURE YOUR EXISTING COVER.
Step 3: Find your duct size from the size options available. The width is always listed first and the height is listed second.
NOTE: Register sizes are available in 2 pack quantities, and larger air vent covers are available in single pack quantities.

How to Install
Our vent covers come primed white, ready to paint the color of your choice. We recommend painting prior to installation
Step 1: First remove the existing vent cover
Step 2: Wipe the ductwork with a rag to clean any accumulated dust
Step 3: Hold Vent Cover against the wall, covering the entire duct opening. Make sure vent cover is level.
Step 4: Use mounting holes on the grill as a template, mark hole locations on the wall.
Step 5: Use included screws to attach vent cover to wall. Fasten directly into the duct flange or wood framing where available. For drywall only installations additional anchors may be needed.
Note: Do NOT use power tools to tighten screws as this can crack the wood cover.

How do I measure?
Remove the old metal cover and measure the rough opening. Measure the the width first and then the height to match how sizes are listed on our website.
What are the outside measurements?
Our panels come with a surrounding border approximately 1 3/8 " larger than the intended duct size on each side. For example a panel made for a 10"W x6H" duct will measure on the outside approximately 12.75" W x 8.75" H

Yes, we have applied a white primer to the the Classic Wood Pattern vent covers and registers, and it is ready for a water-based paint. You can paint to match the color of your wall or ceiling or you can use a different color to make it a accent statement in your home. We recommend painting prior to installation.
Can I use this with a filter?
This particular model is intended only for fixed vents that do not hold a filter. It can be used in both intake and outtake applications. For filter vent covers please see our Luxury Louver Vent Covers and Luxury Louver Registers.
Will this work in in the ceiling?
Yes, our pre-drilled holes allow for fast and easy installation. (screws included)
What is a register?
A register is the visible vent cover installed over an HVAC duct opening that allows air to enter or exit a room. Registers are typically used for supply air (heated or cooled air coming into a space)
In everyday use, the term register is often used interchangeably with other HVAC terms, including: vent, air vent, supply vent, grille, or grate.
At Worth Home Products, our decorative vent covers are designed to replace standard registers or grilles, providing proper airflow while upgrading the look of your space.
What is a return air vent?
A return air vent pulls stale air back to the HVAC unit to be reconditioned and typically has larger fixed louvers. You'll feel suction not airflow at the vent.
Many return air covers house a 1" filter at the vent. If there is a filter at the vent this particular product will not work. However, if the filter is at the HVAC unit, and the vent is fixed, then this product can be installed. For a filter grille solution please visit out Wood Louver collection
What is a filter grille or filter vent cover
A filter grille or filter vent is a vent cover that also houses a filter at the vent location. This is typically seen in return air applications. These types of vents are not supported for this particular product. However we do offer a Louver Wood collection that can hold a filter.
