Instructions
Step 1: Remove the vent by lifting from the top to release the safety clips
Step 2: Remove the filter by lifting up behind the spring and pulling out from the bottom.
Step 3: Install the filter on an angle behind the spring and let it drop in place.
Step 4: Reinstall the vent by inserting the top first, lifting the vent up to secure the safety clips.

Yes, you only need a screw driver to install our product, and it takes about 15 minutes. Please refer to our installation guide
Yes, our patented locking system is a quick squeeze and release mechanism that unlocks the wood vent cover from our metal frame.
Our covers hold all standard 1" filters. It does not fit metal washable filters. It's key to install the filter on a 30 degree angle behind the top spring mechanism.
Our picture frame casing requires approximately 2" of clearance around the outside on the wall. Note baseboards, door jams and other millwork that are within that area may pose an obstacle in installation.
Yes, but not recommended because our vent covers are made of solid wood and are heavy and to change can be difficult up high. Also the plantation shutter design allows for visibility into the duct cavity unlike on wall applications. While safe, we are working on a better design for ceiling applications.

We may ask you to send pictures of the issue, and we ask that you save all original packing materials, if it's necessary to ship the item back.
Because this is an unfinished product that is intended to be painted and finished with a protective top coat, there may be surface imperfections that can easily be corrected with light sanding and painting.
